Preworkouts and creatine. ..

Any time I take a pre workout I have to slow my roll in the gym because I'm always fighting vomiting. ... back in the day I didn't care too much, train till you puke etc., I just get such a strong pump on my own that I don't really need a pre workout... And YES I have tried numerous brands, pills, powders, taking it earlier, taking it later, anything you can think of....

Same goes for Creatine... I always get sick if I take it before a work out.... sometimes even if I take it first thing in the a.m. an hour or 2 later I'm lucky if I haven't thrown up. ... though more often than not I can make it without throwing up if I take it early in the morning... and by doing so it doesn't have a negative effect on my training session.

Anyone else have these issues? And would it still serve a purpose if i take them super early and hit the gym a few hours later, or then am I just flushing money down the toilet?
 
I've got a cast iron gut. Never had any problems with creatine, but here recently this pre-workout I've been taking is bother me a little. Its called Taze 3. I've used it before with no issues, this time something is different. Yeah imo you would be wasting your money taking a pre-workout few hrs before you go train. Most pre-workouts are really a waste of money anyway. Try this: in a 32oz bottle mix Emergen-c, 8oz of Gatorade and 24oz of water. Also take 200mg of caffeine.

You could take creatine early if you wanted to...as long as it doesn't make you puke.:p

The main purpose of PWO is to get energy in the gym (or a "pump"). If you have the energy without it then dont use it. If needed you can try caffiene pills. Or find something a little milder. As for myself, I usually only take 1/4 to 1/2 scoop of anything or im too jittery.
Also 7's recipe is on point.
 
The caffeine in the ore workout may be what makes you throw up. I usually take pre then an hour into my workout I start to feel kinda nauseous so what I do is keep a bag of wheat thins in my gym bag and when I start to feel sick I eat 4-6 and I start to feel better immediately. Also taking pre on an empty stomach may make the sickness more likely to happen. As far as creatine goes definitley take it in the mornings if you can I take my creatine in the morning right after breakfast then about an hour pre workout with a small snack

Not to hijack anything, but how long before u work out do u take it. Been looking for something to break over the hump in the gym. Usually just do 2 cups black coffee. That usually wears off in a hour or so. Then I'm actually worse off than if I hadn't taken anything. Just been feeling like I'm not getting enough done I guess.

I take the 200mg caffeine 30mins before, sometimes 400mg depends on how I feel. The mix I take with me (not really a pre workout I guess...should've explained that better), but you can slam a pak of Emergen-C with the caffeine and take a mix with ya...vitamin C overload. If you think its gonna work, it will...the mind is a powerful thing my friend.
