Pre workout and Intra supplements

Hi Guys,

I have to say ive tried a few of these products and I dont know if its just me but ive never really felt a great deal of difference. I love alanine just for the buzz - but thats more of a stimulating effect that I like. Its like yes its time to train now.

Anyone else agree or have any of you tried something and thought yes that helped with an extra rep or two.

Seems to be a lot of money for little return.

Intra workout supplements are worthless. Pre workouts can be beneficial if you're tired or lethargic and need a boost but caffeine or something will usually work too seeing as it's one if the ingredients in most PWO supps anyway

Most supps are worthless or can be easily replaced by something much cheaper. The only ones I personally use are whey protein bc it's a quick and convenient way to get more protein in my diet and sometimes a PWO for when I have a long day at work or slept like shit

I think your correct about most supplements. Ive used creatine and most other supplements and can honestly say ive never noticed a great deal. Years ago when I was into MMA I used a creatine and taurine mixed supplement and it was amazing. Like yourself im using a whey protein and alanine just because I like a pre workout buzz. I do like a product by myProtein called macro meal but thats more from a good source of calories point of view

Creatine is the most backed and researched supplement out there. It works no doubt about it but only if you're a responder. Last figure I saw estimated creatine non-responders at 10-20% of the population.

Caffeine, creatine, BCAA. Just started caffeine and it is nice. I don't want to become dependent on it though lol. BCAA I just do because ive heard it work's. Honestly it could be or not. Creatine same thing.

When I'm really tired and need a good pick me up before hitting the gym, I'll smoke some crack rocks. I'll be damned if the tiredness doesn't just evaporate immediately.:D Also helps with my cut.

I use these supplements because I feel I need to but after a cycle I think back and not a lot has been gained. But when im not using them I feel like something is missing lol drives me crazy. Damn supplements aaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh

A lot of guys have a hard time understanding the real purpose of intra workout http://anysupplement.com/supplements.html in their fitness regimens. Your intra workout needs are different from others so you have to pick your goals and activities. We’ll focus on the needs of bodybuilders and men that are trying to build muscles through lifting weights at the gym. The 30 minutes before workout for pre workout supplements is based on how your body quickly burns through these energy, strength, and pump producing nutrients. Therefore, by taking a pre workout thirty minutes before hitting the weights gives adequate time for absorption, followed by a solid few hours of ‘performance overdrive’ for you to make use of in the gym.
