pre meal snacks

Hello gents,

What do y'all comsume after a workout and before you main meal? It is a must for me to increase my calorie intake because I would like this cycle to generate a 15 pound increase. Al though my goal is doubtful I am doing everything in my power for this to happen and my training is not the problem.

I had two apples after my workout today so that's a start. I eat 6 eggs for breakfast and have started to mix in a protein shake as well. For lunch I am going from 1 turkey sandwich to 2 along with a quart of milk. For dinner I mix in a high carb meal such as pasta or one of those personal pan pizzas. Before I go to bed I have a small meal.

My question reloves around those little snacks that you consume during the day. I heard bananas are good but how do they differ from apples? Are these little meals consist mainly of fruits or some kind of offshoot? I need to get back into the peanut butter snack or possibly some apple sauce.

What do you think?

i like natural peanut butter and a good soy based protein booster in my shakes. and for mid day snacks i like Protein Plus bars, expensive as hell though.
 
I like peanuts, raisins, and natty pb and j sandwiches for extra cals if I was trying to gain weight. In college I would fill a ziplock with raisins and peanuts and eat on em throughout the day during class along with 1 or 2 pb and j sandwiches.

2-3 protein shakes( labrada) per day is the only way I can get the nutriants I need. When I'm bulking I'll add oatmeal to it and blend it right in along with some flax seed oil. I always drink one 30min after WO...........11

my bad, yeah i'm now done with soy. hearing the studies coming out over the past month, thanks for the heads up.
