Powerlifting program and coaching reviews

Thought this would be a good topic.

I just finished Smolov Jr for bench. Previous PR was 407lbs and hit 440lbs today. Great peaking program.

Was running Sheiko before, but due to so many problems with injuries can't give much of a review. The last time I ran it I cut over 30lbs and maintained my total though.

5/3/1 was good for my deadlift, but didn't do much for my squat or bench. I do like the AMRAPs though.

Got some others to review when I have more time.

That's a huge leap
But that being said...
A 30lb cut while maintaining your weight is also VERY impressive.

I want to try Smolov... but I'm making solid gains off of the Greyskull LP that @Worf and you guys helped me with.
So if it ain't broke, dont fix it.
When my body needs a change up and I eventually stall, I'm really looking into Smolov

It's not a sustainable long term program. Just something you can run to peak your bench and get your numbers up quickly once in awhile. 30lbs gain in four weeks pretty typical of it though.

Juggernaut's AI coach was pretty good. I was able to squat 375 and deadlift 450 at my little mock meet. Those were far larger number than ever before. I had done 415 deadlift and only 325 in squat. My bench was a bit more disappointing. I only hit 305 in my mock meet.l, but had done 315 several weeks earlier

New to PL like Lemon, ran 5 3 1 and Sheiko. Liked them both. My PRs came on 5 3 1 for DL and Bench.

On the fence right now, with little time, waiting on weights, not sure what I am going tonrun when the rest of my plates show

Makes sense
I'll hold off until the gains stall for a long period.

I feel like that kind of program wouldn't be advantageous for me, seeing as I'm still making solid newbie gains on my numbers

Been running predominantly Raw Conjugate outside of meet preps where I get more sport specific. I crank up the intensity and cut the frequency on lower and bump it up for bench slightly. My deadlift and bench has shot up quite a bit but squat has been much slower to move. Knee problems have plagued me the past year.
