Package deviated off course

Anyone have a package that deviated off course. I don’t want to give specifics. But rather than traveling a straight line from north to south, it has gone from north to Texas and projected to land in the south east. Has this ever happened to anyone. A little odd.

Nothing the post office does makes sense. I once had a package go from my neighboring state, to 2000+ miles away, then back to the neighboring state then to mine. I could have driven to pick it up faster
