Off Caffiene

I'm just about off of caffiene. I'm down to 1half cup coffee in the morning (down from about 4-5 cups a day). I have read that caffiene increase insulin resistance. I think this makes you feel low blood sugar and hungry. I just want to say that I feel great. I didn't realize how nervous caffiene made me. The funny thing is that I don't feel as tired either. I think caffiene revs you up and lets you down hard. Now I feel smooth and steady energy. I know caffiene can have some good training uses, such as to push you a bit harder at cardio and may help burn fat, but I thought I'd pass this on to you if you are a coffee junky like I was.

Oh you were drinking a lot of caffeine. I take 1- 200mg caffeine pill ONLY before I workout so I never realy get used to caffeine and it gives me a nice workout boost. I workout mon-wed-fri am before work.
I am suprised drinking so much coffee you didnt become immune to the caffeine. I use it only as a pre workout "aid" taken 30 minutes before I walk into the gym.
It does make me a bit hyper but I focus it on my workout. I think caffeine if taken only for workouts can be nice. I hate coffee taste so take the caffeine pill.
Starbucks better hope more people dont do what your doing heehee.

I work in Malaysia every few months, they make coffee and tea using condensed milk, its seriously addictive, the nervousness and anxiety you mention is really bad for me, I also get shakes in my hands, will be glad to get back to the bad tasting coffee and clear myself like you when I get home

Never been to Malaysia but would love to go one day. I am into jungles and wild life. How do you like the people there, etc? I know the culture there is real neat. I gather your a coffee drinker and thats the "problem". I only take it caffeine pill 3 times a week before my workout as an energy booster so never got into coffee. Though I like condensed milk heeheee.
Nothing wrong with drinking coffee but like anything else caffeine can be addictive some what.

Funny thing I don't drink coffee at home in the uk, its the taste with condensed milk that does it for me.

I spend most of my time in Penang, and yes its wonderful for flora and fauna. The people are very nice, and there is no fear going out at night etc. Property is unbelieveably cheap, well it is compared to the uk, you can get a large 2 bed condo on a nice complex for about 18000 about $32000.

Hope you dont get addicted to condensed milk like me!!!!!

I've been married a while, my wife had doubts about going to Malaysia many years ago, I went out and bought the tickets, now everytime I have to go out there for work, my wife and daughter insist on coming with me.................only problem I did encounter, don't know why, I get searched and stopped all the time when I enter the States, last time I asked why, and I was told it was because of the stamp in my passport from Thailand which we also visit as its only a relatively cheap taxi fare from Penang. Dont have the same problem coming back to the u.k. though. You really must go the whole atmosphere out there is unbelieveable, bet your wife wont believe how nice it is as well!!!
