I am 17 yrs old 6'0" 180 lbs and want to gain quality muscle mass.
I try to eat as much as possible but it is hard with school. I drink plenty of water and gatorade.
Breakfast
i usually have a problem eating in the morning so i have a protein shake with about 35 g of protein and shot a raw egg and something very small like a cereal bar.
Lunch
The only thing that they serve in the cafeteria is junk food so i bring my lunch and usually eat a ham and cheese sandwich with 3 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese and a small bad of chips ( i cant help myself from the junk food leftovers that my bros dont finish
:( )
post workout meal
i make a shake with 55g of protein powder, 3tbs of peanutbutter, 1 raw egg, this fills me to the rim
Dinner
cooked very clean and low fat, usually eat steak, chicken, pork, etc. but when i cant i eat whatever is made for me such as spaghetti, or potatoes and try to get protein from alt. sources.

please critique, thanks alot
jason

Your calories is pretty low. Do you like milk? If so, drink at least a half gallon of skim milk per day. A glass or two with every meal gets you there in no time. Bring more food with your for lunch, such as some of the leftover steak or chicken from last nights dinner. Scrap the raw eggs, there is a potential health risk there that is not worth the tiny bit of nutritional benefit. Make your breakfast protein shake with milk.

Like BS said add in milk..ALso try this for your breakfast...Cook a cup of oatmeal and blend it with skim milk, and protein powder..IT tastes pretty good, kinda like a thick MRP...

Add in a protein bar between breakfast adn lunch...For lunch instead of 1 sandwich eat 2...Drink a few cartons of milk and some chips or whatever...You could also add in a few PBJ's sandwiches before your workout...

Fill up a ziplock baggie of peanuts/cashews/mixed nuts. You can eat a handful b/n classes. This will easily add a few hundred calories. In college I took a baggie of peanuts and raisins every day. Munched on them throughout the day.

That reminds me of a situation that happened when I was in college. For some reason, I ended up eating 2 pounds of peanuts over the course of 2 days (1 lb/day). I dont know if it was the natural peanut oil or somethign else, but damn if that didnt rip apart my stomach! They dont make TP soft enough for that kinda action!

Moral of the story: go easy on peanuts!
