Howdy folks,

Been lurking about a few days. Figured I'd drop in and make myself known.

Live in Austin, TX. Lift at a local budget gym. Grew up fat. Lost a lot of weight in college ending around 150lbs and thin. Over the past 4 years I've gained 45lbs and am sitting at a soft 195. Stronger than ever except for a herniated L4/L5 that leaves me squatting light if at all. Leg press has been doing me just fine.

I don't use a lot of supplements. Protein, Creatine, Fish Oil. Any time I've ever looked into the hormone-related supplements like natty boosters or pro-hormones the overwhelming social response is "Just run a test cycle. Way cheaper and way more effective." After reading that about 1,000 times I figured I'd join a community who does just this and knows how to do it safely.

So I'm here to learn. I'm here to consider the possibility of making my physique goals actually happen. I appreciate all the free information for the taking.

Running pro hormones actually cost me more money to run and injection aas is really the safest way to go. For your first cycle your going to want to run either test e or test c for 8-12 weeks at between 300-500mg a week. You must first find out your tolerance to aas before using harsher compounds. At 500mg a week of test e, I wouldn't be surprised if you put on more than 20lbs of muscle in 12 weeks. Are you well educated on ai use and pct and everything?

Educated? Sure. Experienced, nope!

I'm 28 - I have remnants of pubertal gyno. If I do decide to take the plunge, I'd probably do a 12-15 week Test-E 500mg/week cycle and I would run Arimidex at 0.5mg eod -or- 0.25mg eod just to avoid aggravation of the remaining tissue.

PCT I understand you spend 1-2 weeks post-cycle on absolutely nothing, then start with Nolvadex for 4 weeks at 40/40/20/20?

Seems like you got a cycle down pretty good. Don't go past 12 weeks for a first cycle especially on test e or c as the gains begin to taper after about 8 weeks. The risk to reward ratio after 12 weeks isn't good enough form most. Also, look into aromasin for the ai of choice. I have no experience with estrogen rebound but some say adex can lead a rebound of estrogen when you stop taking it. You run aromasin at 12.5 mg eod to start and can up the dosage if necessary. For pct run aromasin at 12.5 or 25mg ED with the nolva to help with recovery. Also you might want to have that gyno issue taken care of before the cycle, maybe run nolva for a couple day before you start to knock the gyno down. Make sure to have plenty or nolva incase of a gyno flare up.

I haven't hammered out any details because I am still really unsure this is something I want to undertake. The gyno is certainly an issue. But it's been there since I was a child and at this point I'm not sure a SERM or AI is going to help reduce it further. Might have to bite the bullet and get it operated.

I also want to see if I can squeak over the 200lb mark over the next year or so. I know I have a lot of potential left naturally and if I were to put another 20lbs on from cycle number one, that could be pretty beastly.

Good luck on all your personal goals. Just remember to set them reasonable and knock them out one at a time. In 3 years you should be where you want to with applying consistency.

BTW, I've been through Tx many times and really enjoyed it. Austin is very nice.
