Negatives

I have switched up my routine countless times. However, ideas for 'negative' ONLY lifts/workouts? I need ideas for leg day, shoulders, back and chest. A few come to mind but i want to see if the community could help me out and bring attention to a negative lift i didnt think of.

So you want to take out the concentric portion completely? Just focusing on eccentric portion or the negative aspect of the lift?


Alot of things for legs without a spotter would be doing things like, 2 legs up and 1 leg down. For example the legs press you go two legs pressing up which is super light, but then focus on the negative with one leg, which makes it a heavy eccentric, which is as close as i can think what your looking for. You can do this with leg ext, hammy curls, legs press, and probably some others.
