I'm 39 5'9" -150lbs would like to put on about thirty more pounds I have an extremely high metabolism never can seem to put on weight running 400 MG test a week right now have come up ten pounds while on test,any foods that are better to eat with this problem or eat more meals any help would be awesome?

If you're nor gaining, you're not eating enough.

What do you eat now?

Ratio btw fat, protein, carbs?

Try starting out the day with a solid amount of virgin olive oil. Good fats and lots of energy.
 
I havnt been counting I have been eating everything I can alot of egg whites red meat chicken breast but I have just been eating three meals a day do you think it would be better to eat more meals during the day. Havnt measured my body fat but its not alot I'm sure how do you measure it I'm sorry I'm pretty green at every thing.

I managed to add a lot of muscle - at least 40lbs - over the past 2 years, most of it over a 12 to 18 month period. And I'm 53. I ate so much - mainly protein and veggies - that I got heat burn at times. I ate 6-8 times per day. The three main meals with snacks and shakes in between.

Gotta eat more! And don't be afraid of fats - good fats - olive oil, coconut oil, whole milk, real butter etc. Whole eggs.
 
I appreciate the help. yeah I use a lot of olive oil.so it's ok to eat the whole egg I have started using creatine it helped when I was younger hopefully it still will.

WHY THE HELL ARE YOU TAKING AAS WHEN YOU CLEARLY HAVE NO IDEA OF DIET AND TRAINING.

Okay that being said, start fricken counting your calories and figure out your TDEE if you don't do these you are just planing to fail over and over again. Download MyFitnessPal on your phone and count everything you eat and if you don't gain weight then you know you need to eat more!

Don't bother with AAS if you don't know diet cause that's like putting jet fuel into a beater diesel truck it might make it run better temporarily but once the jet fuels gone it's still just a beater. You want to reshape that beater with a new life by changing its core parts (your diet) and then you make it look good with high quality body work (your training program) then when you're done you have a classic truck and not just the beater

400mg is not a TRT dose if you have low test and have a doctor script follow your doctors script don't cycle and 400mg is most definitely a cycle

Rodger - good posts - I totally overlooked OP's puny weight, I just focused on replying to the weight gain issue. Absolutely, his diet is clearly wrong - and he doesn't need more than TRT levels until he's at least 30 lbs of muscle heavier.

Huh? 200mg every two weeks? Who gave you that idea?

Typically, TRT ranges fall btw 100mg and 200 mg per week - ideally administered in two shots per week, i.e. 50mg to 100mg per shot E3.5D.

200mg every 2 weeks is crazy - your levels will go to a big peak and then collapse near zero - unless you're taking some extreme ester. My injection interval applies to the US "standard" cypionate ester.

Now you're making it more confusing - are you saying the doc is injecting you with 800mg every two weeks right now, or 400mg once per week?

If you have control over the vial, then by all means ignore the doc and pin half the weekly dose twice per week. Even, steady levels is what TRT is about.

OK, 100mg per week, that sounds more normal. So, the 400mg number was a typo/mistake?

In either case, always insist on getting control over the vial, do the injections yourself. Looks like you're in a neighboring state - Alabama - so that should be possible.

Have you just started this? No blood work yet? BTW, always ask for copies of your blood work.

No AI? (Arimidex typically) But at 100mg per week, if divided into 4 shots, you most likely shouldn't need it.

Biweekly is a tricky word - means once every other week or twice per week. The latter is what you want to do. Pin 50mg E3.5D

I wish I had that problem, can't eat enough to gain weight lol I couldn't even imagine what that's like. My appetite is ravenous and my metabolism in on the slow side.
