Liquid Chalk

Was just told by my gym that I can't use chalk anymore, but the guy suggested I use liquid chalk. Has anyone used it? Does it work ok?

I don't mind liquid chalk as a base layer for real chalk but it doesn't compare to real chalk for heavy lifts only thing it does is make your hand more tacky it doesn't help at all for sweaty hands. Imagine your hands just feeling a bit sticky as opposed to dry

I've used both. Liquid chalk sucks infected orangutan balls compared to real chalk. Both my gyms don't allow chalk. I still use it just discretely and no one bothers me.

Thanks all. It seems the problem they have is leaving chalk on the bars and weights. I will apply it more discretely and rub it into my hands real good so as not to leave chalk everywhere.

You can also bring a small towel and wipe the equipment down. If they don't see chalk on the equipment then there should be no reason to prevent you from using it and they might not even realize you do.
