lipitor safe for athlete?

screwed my lipid profile, doc put me on lipitor. am reading nasty side effects on muscle...legit? alternatives?

Id like to know this aswell. My doc put me on it almost 1 month ago. I have not seen any sides so far. He had me on Crestor and it worked great but my new health coverage wont pay for it.

Get back on a good diet and maybe he will take you off it in 6 months. Good luck, MAGNUS

I would never put a healthy patient on a statin drug. They cause to many side effects, in waaaay more users than is published, and increase the risk of cancer.
