That is a good question, I would like to bump this one. One other thing if anyone responds. Does eating high amounts of protein have negative effects on the kidneys. I am reading a lot about kidney problems recently and would like to know how to prevent a future problem.
Thank you

I'm a no pro at this; however, it is my understanding from both a reputable doc (who actually uses gear) and someone who has had a kidney transplant do to gear and amount of protein intake that large amount of it, can actually stress the kidneys more than gear can. I was told that if you're doing 2 or more grams per body weight then to take certain ancillaries to prevent future, not immediate, damage. The person who had a kidney failure did not see it until about 12-15 after he started doing gear - of course, he does not do the amounts I or most do...to give you an idea, he was upwards of 1-1.5gm per day of gear, sometimes 2g per day. So to answer your question, not sure how much of a role protein plays in kidney stress, but from what he said and his doc, a rather large amount.

But again, EVERYBODY is different. If you drink on a regular basis, or are prone to certain thins then obviously you will be more affected than someone who does not drink or socially drinks, etc...

supposedly, dandelion root helps cleans the liver and kindey, however i dont know how this might work, physiologically. i can say though, that at three grams a day, there has been a decrease in blood pressure, probably due to its diuretic effects, which might in turn help keep the kindneys clean.
also, creatinine and urea levels can be indicators for kidney fuction and health.

i read somwhere about people with kidney stones they were eating masive amounts of water melon and sitting it a bath all day to pass the stone. i wouldnt go that far but this is food for thought. maybe once in a while do a day with a huge amount water mellon. i think i may do this soon. id like to do a day of detox as far as i could poss take it. hey could u imagen eating like 5 water melons in a day and lazing in the bath with some music and just chilling. it would be nice no work no hassles ect.

he was doing 2grams of gear a DAY? or WEEK? huge difference. I am not doubting you bro, just wondering if you mixed the 2 up, as 2gram of gear a day is as much as Coleman would use TOPS.

Anyone heard of Liv-52.. It's supposed to help promote healthy liver function..

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

i think it's like the pill i take for liver....it has:

dandelion, milk thistle, alpha lipoic acid, trimethyl glycine, and n-acetyl cysteine

this is suppose to be a very good combo

figure it can't hurt
