I´am 43 years old and from Austria, no not the Kangaroos but alot of Cows.
I started working out when i was 18 years, i was a very thin guy with a BW of around 55 to 60kg
I gained around 20 pounds in the first two years of training, then i had a few drawbacks. Car accidend twice, broken bones, double side hernia with guts hanging out and an exploded belly button also. Nearly died in thru the surgery and after of failures from the doctors, lost a huge ammount of blood internaly.
Got back to the gym, jesus that shit was really hard, couldnt do BW squats and benchpressing was the emtpy bar.
Got back up to 82kg and met some stage bodybuilders, this was a different time than today, back then, this was around 2004 if i´m not wrong, there was knowledge not so comon as it is today. I got offerd steroids, i was young and had absolutly no idea what this is or what it does. It was played down as its laike candy and nothing to worry about but it definetly was...
Someone told me to check my blood work so i did, it was horrible, so i tried to learn about this stuff, got off, recoverd my hormons pretty good.
Since a few years i am now on kind of and trt where i use around 150mg per week i have a good doc who does my bloodwork, i watch the APOB A and B values etc. Try to stay healthy. I dont drink and smoke, (2 cl of good whiskey every few weeks or so) i dont drink any kind of sugar, mostly i eat meat, rice, potatoes and abit vegetables. I am kinda oldschool i guess, i dont care much about taste, (except the whiskey...) it just needs to work.
So thats it as an introduction i guess, i am glad i found this forum with such educated people.
