Nice of you to share these, I am not in the USA and I can't benefit but it is admirable. Not sure if I would read much into his comments as he is likely sponsored by the brand, I can't see the reason why 1 flat shoe could be superior than another unless one is cheaply built which Adidas is not, I mean there is an enormous difference in the width of Romaleos and Adipower that contributes to Romaleos being superior but in a flat shoe I can't imagine that being the case

I definitely agree. But the shoes do look really flat and grippy. I will be switching to flats for squats after this meet.

If they didnt have that gorilla on them id get them. Chucks are starting to mess my feet up some and i need something a little bit wider where i can root really well into the floor. most likely going to get some boxing or wrestling shoes

I think if you take the Gorilla wear shoes to a cobbler they can subdue that gorilla. I got a pair of Adidas Jake Varner 2 wrestling shoes. I will switch to these after the meet for squats and deads. They fit snug but comfortable and grippy as fuck. They are flat as well.
