Incredible! I saw it on my news feed but didn't see the video until now. Despite the unfortunate death and injury toll, I can't help but be fascinated at the intensity of that explosion.
First thing that comes to mind here, is that they mentioned wheat was being stored in a connecting building. It doesn't happen very often these days, but I remember growing up in farm country and hearing about silos catching fire. If the wheat is stored improperly, it can get so hot during this time of the year that it will catch fire in the right conditions.
Now, what I would most certainly not put next to hot dry silage is a couple tons of ammonium nitrate...
