Increased cholesterol levels - Anavar

I just got my bloodwork results back and my cholesterol levels got worse after a 12 week cycle including Anavar. I started at 25mg / daily and worked my up to 75mg and then tapered back down to 25mg. I was Test Cyp at 560 mg/weekly with it.

Total cholesterol went up from 131 to 217
LDL went up from 83 to 177
HDL went down from 31 to 25

Last blood work was August 2023.

This is the first time running anavar this long. Has anyone experienced this type of increase? Will the levels correct themselves after ceasing the Anavar?

Any thoughts or advice is greatly appriciated.

Anavar is terrible on lipids. After stopping the var I’d retest in a month you can also take citrus bergamot or red rice yeast

Anavar/Oxandrolone is known for this. Otherwise great steroid.

I had planned on another test in 90 days. Perhaps 30 days to see if it is trending in the right direction is a better course.
