I'm 62 on TRT

I'm not so much a cycle, I'm prescribed TRT, 60 mg of Cyp 2x week. I switched myself to Test U, was doing 125mg every 9 days, which gave me about 850 ng/dl total test.

I decided to bump up to 150 mg every 9 days, a 20% increase, to see if there is any difference, or benefit. Seems like my levels could hit 1000 ng/dl.

Never did other steroids or a cycle, so just experimenting.

My hematocrit and estrogen were in the normal range, so checking if I can push it a little. I know this is extremely tame compared to what many guys here are doing.

Anyway, I do like Test U, I hardly have to do any injections. I rotate between delts, pecs, and vastus lateralis, and I guess I could throw in glutes, but pinning at every 9 days scar tissue should be a non-issue.
I'm hoping the stable levels will keep any unwanted side effects at bay.

Originally I was using Nebido, but that stuff is crazy expensive compared to UGL test U in MCT, so I switched to that.

My TRT clinic doesn't require labs until January 2027, but it's possible I'll need to taper off if my T levels and other markers are too high for what I'm prescribed. I don't know if it really matters, or if they'd change my protocol based on my labs, or drop me for not complying with treatment. I have a long time before I need to worry about that.
I have nothing on hand if I start to get gyno, I guess if I do I'll just skip a week or two and drop the dosage.

Seems like I could add primo or masteron to drop estrogen, but I really don't know enough about it, and I'm an older guy, so it's probably best to stick with mono therapy, I'm on no other medications. I have no idea how high I could push the testosterone without getting sides, I almost want to see where the limiti is and then drop back down below that and stay there.

I kind of have some tendency for mild depression, and was thinking maybe TRT can help me out, but so far it's hard to tell, hence the bump up in dose.

My lifting background is limited, I always kept weights and really just did minimal programming just to stay active. Around 2014, at 50 I started getting serious about strength, and pushed my back squat up to 3 plates (which I know isn't really all that much), basically just trained squat, deadlift, bench, press, more powerlifting oriented than bodybuilding. The numbers became my addiction, adding weight was the goal. All the great bodybuilders had great strength, so I figured I'd start there, those were metrics that progress could be measured by, not, "am I looking more jacked?" I went from about 175 lb to around 205 lb at 6'1" so there were some muscle gains, as well as fat, both of which I held onto. Never really went beyond trying to gain more strength, but maybe now I'll trying to focus more on aesthetics.

Anyway that's my story.

I welcome any comments or input, lotta smart dudes here, I'll try not to take it personally if I'm told I'm acting like a dummy.

Everyone will have slightly different advice for you. At 62 making sure that you aren't causing damage to your body is obviously the most important thing, really at any age it should be. Ultimately you need to dial in the dose that feels right for you and keeps your health markers in check which will likely take a little experimenting. There's no reason to push doseages high just feel it out. Personally I think if you need estrogen management a little Equipoise or primo shouldn't be too harsh on you again just keep things on the lower side until you get where you want to be. Good luck!
