If I were to start my own bodybuilding sanction, here is how I'd do things....
#1- unlike the greedy NPC, my membership fee would be a lot cheaper than the retarded $100 they want, and your card would be good for a true 365 days, not just the end of that year. The entry fee would be cheaper for the contest too
#2- I'd offer good prizes, and $$$ to people who place
#3- I'd let the bodybuilders actually execute the pose before telling them to go to the next pose. WTF is that about anyways? I know the NPC has become a complete crock that makes all its $$ off its competitors rather than crowds, but do they have to be so in your face about it? "yea yea, hit your pose and hurry up and gtf outta here, money money money!!"
#4- a competitor meeting actually starts at the posted time, if your late too fucking bad.
#5- there will be more in the back room to pump up with other than 2 sets of db's everyones greasy hands share
#6- I'd advertise more, there would be radio ads and ads in magazines and newspapers leading up to the event
#7- The competitors would get 2 min to pose during their night routine instead of the 90 sec the NPC allows
#8- There would be an after party someplace everyone was invited to
