I'm on a cycle of test enthate,EQ, and d-ball. I'm trying to gain some weight maybe 200-205lbs so gain 15-20 lbs and keep my body fat down. I'm about 13-15 percent right now. I want to diet but I don't really know where to start. I just stay away from sodium,fats,suger... I want to know how to eat and if there is way you culd explain what to look for on the the product. SHould I be looking for carbs and protein and low suger, fat, sodium? What is the best way to get big but stay cut? are there any diets I could go by? Some good foods to eat? I just started yesterday and here is what I had...

Oatmeal
Orenge
Banana
2 chciken breast
can of tuna
Grilled chicken sandwitch
3 peanut butter sandwitches
2 protein shakes
spagatii
turkey sandwitch
half a hamburger

I'm 185 so please help me. What should I do?

well ...my first thought is it looks like you arent eating enough
for a mass / gaining cycle

and if its a cutting cycle you are eating too many carbs and of the wrong type

however your diet doesnt look terrible either .
but its a little hard to tell without knowing what YOU consider a SERVING
versus what I consider a serving

also what is your job/lifestyle like ?

There's no problem whatsoever with eating carbs when dieting. If your caloric intake is lesser than your caloric expenditure, you will lose weight, even if you eat nothing but pasta and crisco.

Your food selection looks fine if you are using whole wheat bread for your sandwiches along with natural peanut butter. However, you should be adding a lot more green vegetables. Also, it is easy to figure out how much protein you're eating each day. You should have 250 grams of protein each day, especially while on a cycle.

Another good source of protein and Polyunsaturated fat (a good fat) is unsalted peanuts. Each day, I mix nuts with yoghurt as part of my breakfast with oatmeal. (I use a lot of skim milk with the oatmeal.) Each meal, think 'Protein'. If you try to get all of your protein in one serving, you'll flush most of it away. Most bodies can only absorb about 25 grams of protein per hour.

"Most bodies can only absorb about 25 grams of protein per hour."

Is this an actually scientific fact? I think there are way too many variables when considering how much protein one can stomach per hour.

Pasta and crisco? Damn that sounds good! :D

No, it's a bullshit, gym tale that just won't die.
I hope you're right, but if I take in too much protein within an hour, I'll fart my whole neighborhood on fire. Do you think that there is any limit that we can absorb within an hour?

Seems like you and Grizzly are right that there is not a limit on the amount of protein we can absorb at one setting. I couldn't find any findings from medical websites, but on several body building articles, the consensus is that there is no limit.

I stand corrected.

Depending on how you define absorb.

There is basically no limit to how much protein can be absorbed by the small intestine in the form of amino acids but that should be obvious and it basically has no meaning.

There is however a limit on how much protein your body can use before it just turns the rest into glucose which is an important consideration when forming a nutritional regiment.

Goosey is on the right track. How do these bullshit myths come to exist? I mean, this one doesn't even make any sense AT ALL!!!

so, what, if you eat a whole cow at one sitting, you'll "absorb" your 30 grams and then shit out undigested steak? Duh.

It's very simple, if you eat it, you digest it. A component of digestion is absorbtion. Thus...
