home made bulk protein shakes

Fuck... talk about spilling over. The body can only breakdown so much protein at one time the rest is stored as glycogen to be used as fuel,
however, if you are already taking in too many carbs, then the protein because stored as fat.
Why not atleast increase you anabolic state and increase you fat and protein instead of having a ton of carbs.
Now take the fact that I live a keto lifestyle, my example even before keto looked a little something like this:
2 scoops of equate whey isolate
3-4 tbsp of peanut butter
MCt oil or macadamias nut oil or,
12 oz macadamia milk
(*has 2 net carbs and no lactose and fat and protein from a superior source.)
300kcals 5g/f 12g/c 60g/p
360kcals 36g/f 12g/c 14g/p
75kcals 9g/f <2g/c 10g/p
Total - 735 50fat 26carb 84pro

Try that shit

Not a keto guy but looks delicious!

Idk how I missed this but

egg whites
oats
dextrose
A nut butter or an oil

Pick and choose the amounts! Take out carbs if your keto, take out the fats post workout

Versatile

Liquid egg whites make me gassy as fuck. I try to stick with whey, yogurt, dairy, or plant based protein like pea powder for shakes.

Liquid calories should be used sparingly. Maybe for 1-2 meals max in my opinion.

Technically, this would be a really poor choice for someone in ketosis, due to the amt. of sugar.

Depending on the type of pbutter you use, it is feasible. Kroger’s all natural crunchy And their All natural creamy PB only has a total of 3net carbs per 2 tbsp.

Just saying, chicken of the sea canned chicken breast is convenient and blends up real easy.

It’s basically flavorless so you can add it to any of the shakes above. I’ve used it with frozen strawberries and a banana with milk and also peanut butter and chocolate milk.

Isn’t that pretty high in sodium?
