hidradenitis suppurativa

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone here has hidradenitis suppurativa and used any peptides that have helped at all? My wife has it and she suffers constantly, the only thing that SLIGHTLY helps is a medicine that basically shuts her immune system down and constantly gets sick. I’ve heard HGH is good for skin but dunno how much i believe that, I haven’t noticed any difference in my skin….

Is the med she's on secukinumab? Consentyx?

It’s a “biologic” medication called Adalimumab or brand name humira. The condition basically makes the immune system recognise some hair follicles as foreign objects creating absess’s. She’s constantly on antibiotics to handle breakouts. So the humira basically turns the immune system down to try and help… it’s a very crappy condition and there is no cure, it sucks she suffers so much
