Hello everybody!

I've been interested in hypertrophy training since my youth and have been taking my training more or less seriously depending on my mental health state and discipline (also episodes of addiction, that didn't help my fitness journey for sure, currently abstinent and planning to keep it that way). Bodybuilding and sports in general are a very stabilizing factor in my life and as I try to stay up to date with new scientific findings on exercise techniques and nutrition, the topic of performance enhancing substances has spiked my interest. Until now I have lurked on this page as an anonymous user, but now I want to be able to engage and learn even further before I decide to take the step of performance enhancement. (if i even do so)

About me:
33 years old, 82kg (pretty lean, i'd guess around 12-15% bodyfat) 182cm tall (~6ft and 180lbs in freedom units, yee haw) and I'd say that I look rather athletic. (i was 86kg but lost a lot because of tough times and a lot of stress). Now I take my training seriously and already mealprep, albeit not as precisely as I'd like, but I'm working on it.

Also I am planning on becoming a licenced personal and fitnesstrainer (including nutrition obviously) and start a new career, as I am good at motivating people and enjoy helping people get closer to their goals.

Before people say that I am not ready for my first experience, I hear you and you are right in saying so. If i cant prove to myself that I am 100% committed to this lifestyle and ready to make a lifelong decision (or at least one with consequences) I won't take that step. I've started of with videos from moreplatesmoredates and vigorous steve, read a lot of articles, forum posts and know my way around the vocabulary and the basic effects peds can have on the body, but that one way road of information has its limits of education and that's why I'm here.
