Herniated disc - 3 solutions?

This is a tough call. The spine can heal, or the pain can go away, including from herniations. I would get a disk replacement before I would get a fusion. And before any of those, I would try:

I would try getting a new bed and a new mattress. I would try using an inversion table. I would try excessive hydration (drink water). I would try professional massages. And I would try weight loss (every pound can count. Sometimes 5 pounds can make or break your condition. It has nothing to do with the weight you can lift). Strategic anti inflammatory use. Sometimes small things like the above can fix the problem or make things tolerable. All of these helped me.

Did you receive the injections directly into the discs? How many stem cells did you get?
25 million msc shots into the disc there were 4 total shots. Then I received and IV as well with 100 million msc. I’m going back to Mexico next month for some in my shoulder

So 200 million total (4 shots of 25 + 100 IV)? Would you mind DMing the name of the place you went to? Not sure if the mods will allow it posted here or not.

Man I’m so grateful you shared your experience. I really appreciate it!

GL to everyone here fighting through back disabilities. I live here too and the shared experiences are invaluable for learning to live with this stuff.

The most important part, as this thread proves... no one is making this trip alone or even for the first time.

I used to have 3 herniated discs in my lower back confirmed by mri. Whenever I would bend over pain would shoot down my leg. I went to chiropractor for a year 3 times a week for adjustments that did't help.

Than I heard about this one nun that was massaging people in a salt cave. I went to check it out. (Very wild experience)She explained to me that my body was very stiff and that adjustment would not help because my muscles would pull the disks out due to muscle memory.

At the time I didn't really believe her but decided to start doing romanian deadlifts to stretch my lower back. My pain went away after 3 or 4 sessions.

Start stretching and see what happens.
