Hello everyone. I want to start getting involved with the powerlifting and bodybuilding community, so I figured I should introduce myself.

I have lifted since I was 15, but never with consistency. I have also been overweight my entire life. I always enjoyed it, but I’d normally have three month bursts and then fall off. Around 22-25 I really stopped lifting and working out. I eventually picked that back up at 26, though covid threw me out of the rhythm. I really started making a habit out of when I was 27, and I’ve stuck with it here now that I’m 29, almost 30.

I didn’t actually realize I’m really good at putting on muscle until last year. I always thought it was easy for people to put on 2-3 lbs of muscle a month consistently. Then my roommates pointed out how muscular I got I over the summer after not seeing me two months. One of my roommates is really athletic, and he ran through how hard it is for him to put on muscle like I did.

So, I was enjoying this progress, and I’ve always had kind of an admiration for bodybuilders. So in August last year I really started looking into how to optimize my gains and take advantage of my genes. I worked on improving my form, and I started looking into steroids. I knew I’d want to push myself past my natural potential at some point, and the main reason I began thinking about it then was because I had the idea that muscle memory would allow my to go past my potential after I “deflated” from the cycle. I wanted to wait until I got less fat, and I knew gear isn’t something someone should just jump into without doing their research. So I spent the fall doing extensive research and continuing to make natty gains. I hit 18% body fat end of November and by some miracle retained it through December.

So, here comes January. I’ve got my blood work done, I found out about online TRT clinics, and signed up for one of those. Started me at 200mg a week, and I did that for two weeks, and I just felt better. I didn’t really have low T, but I also felt a general improvement. I did that for two weeks, and I knew that wasn’t going to do much, so I doubled it my dose to 400mg (yes i ended up caving and getting some UGL T). I didn’t really have many sides. Only negatives were that I was horny as fuck, a little hyper-competitive, and my BO got a lot stronger. I made visible progress, and after 6 weeks I decided to up my dose to 750mg since I was tolerating it so well.

Same at 750mg. I did start to see a few serious sides, like my BP got a little high and I started to get some acne, but otherwise, I was fine. I recently ended the cycle after 12 weeks total because I am getting great results, but I’m about to graduate and have a whole lot of other things. My diet needs to be dialed in, which I don’t have the time to do right now. So I figured the best course of action would be to cycle off for 8 weeks, and pick back up in June. I debated on just cruising into June, but I decided I should give my balls a little bit if a chance to function. I’m looking forward to my second cycle, which I anticipate being test c, nadralone, and mesterlone.

I wanted to introduce myself because I really want to pick up this hobby. This is the most fun I’ve had doing anything in a while. I have a B.S. in neuro, so filling in the gaps of endocrinology and just fine tuning everything has been fun. Watching myself grow has been fun. This hypermasculine feeling has been fun. But best of all, I just enjoy being in the gym now. Like I’m at a point that instead of it being hard to get me there 30 minutes there, it’s hard to get me to leave in under 2 hours.

Anyway, that’s my whole journey so far, and I want to take bodybuilding on as a hobby and actually get involved with the community. So this my introduction, and I look forward to joining community.

I have read the arnold encyclopedia of body building perhaps 10 times. Enjoyed your intro even more than arnold. Sounds like you need some bp meds and you are gtg. Most reps sell them here. Caps tabs or raws. Dialators and diuretic. Get to it

Awesome introduction. Glad to see you here. I relate to the “not realizing how quickly I can put on muscle”. If I’m perfectly dialed in I get somewhat similar results. When I was young and hungrier I put on 20lbs in a year natty as a teenager and was leaner than I started. I always plateaued at a certain weight though and found it hard to break past that.

Hey there, welcome :)
You're the one to choose your path, always be cautious is the main thing I'd have to tell you. You're absolutely right about the diet part. It's great to see a lengthy post with such excitement about joining the community!

Always remember to listen to your body and last but not least, continue having fun! This is a lifestyle but also a hobby for some people after all, so enjoy the process and keep this enthusiasm.
