HCG protocol + --> ACNE!

Hey guys,

Just joined here from the SBI forum since swale moved.

Ok I'm running 125mg primoteston (enanthate) E5D. Got it nice and stable, skin became nice and clear.

Since adding HCG though it's gone nasty! I'm currently taking 200iu EOD. I feel it's losing it's effects though - taking too frequently I think. I've tried 100 ED and that wasn't very helpful at all. I think the key to HCG is that u need a spike and drop with it to get the full effects - quite the opposite of Test.

After a few weeks on 200iu EOD I feel its lost much of its potency. Worse still, it's giving me acne.

Has anyone else got similar experience?

As stated above I'm taking test E5D. I think I will start shooting HCG on Day 4 and 5 and see how it goes.

Any comments/suggestions?

Welcome aboard! You're idea of a 4th and 5th day dosing sounds good. Let us know how it goes. Vit B-5 works for some types of acne.

I have battled a little nuisence acne most of my adult life. I have not tried B5 specifically. For me the only thing I have found to clear acne up is a 2.5% Ben Peroxide gel in conjunction with "The Regiman" from www.acne.org. The site owner there developed his own product and it is cheap and effective and you can order it directly thru him. Use the solution in conjunction with the "Basic" brand of bar soap and mosturizer. I started the regimen around Jan 1 and have had hardly any zits at all since. It works.

I just started HRT though, so I have been on pins and needles so far, to see if I will have a relapse. Time will tell......

I'm on week 4 of HCG 2x per week (250 iu) and my acne has gotten significantly worse.

It was giving me problems with the Test Cyp alone, but the HCG seems to be making it worse. Argh. I'll check out the above link. I am allergic to benzoil peroxide, unfortunately. I do still have some Differin and Retin-A from my high school days.

I'm not getting much on my face, but I'm getting a lot on my chest and shoulders.

Almost all BP products on the market are 10% solution and are way to strong and cause irritation and severe drying. The 2.5% solution is the key here, and it is all that you need to be effective. However, like I said, I just started with my 200mg front load on Friday, and so far, so good. I have been extra careful to maintain my regiman.

Acne can be caused by mere changes in hormone levels. Once things stabilize, it may disappear completely.

Also, I would hazard a guess that you are inducing androgen levels that far exceed normal range. That doesn't help, either.

Hey guys.

Swale, my whole goal was to keep everything as stable as possible. Before adding HCG, skin was really good on E5D test shots.

I wanted to keep HCG stable too, which is why I was trying the 100iu ED shots, unfortunately I just didn't feel the effects from it keeping it this stable, and acne still came thru.

I had a blood test done yesterday (day after shooting test and some hcg) so we'll see how high my levels are, though you're probably right. I had been using 100mg a week, then 50mg E3D before going on 125E5D though, and i felt crap on the lower dosing. It was sust tho.

The reason my guys do their test cyp injections WEEKLY is to let serum levels drop at the end, which is picked up by the HCG shots on day five and day six. THAT is how to work HCG into the TRT regimen, with all its benefits, while generating stable serum androgen levels.
