Here are the current tooth fairy rates in the "private sector". Breaking newz. I was just corrected. The current rate is apparently BASED ON AGE.. 1 Buck per year of child's age, per tooth. That's nine bucks a tooth for a 9 year old.
So when did it become acceptable to REWARD Children for LOOSING TEETH. Seems to me the price per tooth should decrease with age, or at least curve off by 6yrs old.
Am I revealing my Financial Profile, OR my MORAL VALUES? I wonder if children of parents with Assets in excess of 1 million dollars get 50 bucks per tooth?!??
Can someone please standardize this?
1. Perhaps a sliding scale based on child's age and income.?
2 How about a "per trip" basis. Say a flat delivery fee with a per tooth allotment?
After all, a 9 year old with 4 teeth pulled at once thus delivering a 36$ WINDFALL just might be psychologically deranging for a LIFETIME as to TEACH the loss of teeth is a good thing.
3. I think I even saw some tooth fairies paying based on the TYPE of tooth.?!?
4. Are their bonuses should they have to be removed prematurely? And to compensate for undue physical and mental hardship?
5. Are their bonuses for accidental physical trauma related losses? Does she even know...?
6. How about PENALTIES for teeth with damage due to not brushing!! Deductions for fillings or chips?
