Anyone a fan? Saw them last night at the U of I and they f-ckin rocked balls!!!!!!!!!!! He did the first hour as a country set- played lots of his grandpa's shit and lots of Johnny, Waylon, Willie, etc etc. 2nd hour and a half he played with AssJack- it was the hardest,scariest metal I have ever seen live. It is amazing how he can go from playin old Hank songs to death metal. If anyone likes either country and/or metal, if Hank III comes to yer town you gotta see him! Yeah and he ripped the hell outta Nashville, Toby Keith, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, etc etc....all those pop country pussies! Texas is where the real music comes from anymore. HOOAH!

He's playing here this saturday and I'm definetly going! Thanks for the heads up about what to expect. I might be wrong, but I think he also plays in superjoint ritual with phil anselmo from pantera. Someone might be able to correct me on that though.

That's correct, Hank III plays bass in SJR. My brother is a big Pantera and Superjoint Ritual fan. He saw SJR in NC several months ago. He got to meet them and talked to Hank quite a while.

Yeah, fuckin love ACC....I have met some actives and they are just that- bad ass dudes. yes, training/pt seems to get harder every session but havent felt an ounce of regret yet! cant wait to go active. My colonel here is one of the greatest dudes I have ever met. Did a training visit to Ft Benning, and got to do some shit with the rangers. Tons of respect for all those guys. Your a marine huh? My bro is in field artillery at Camp Pendleton- 1st Division. He hates it...dont really know why. I think hes just a sally.

any of you texas fellas been to billy bobs or gruene hall? me and my bros here want to take a road trip down there and try and catch as many shows as possible. And no, it doesnt get any better than those lonestar country bands. I have seen Pat Green, Robert Earl Keen, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Hank III, David Allen Coe, Charlie Daniels, Steve Earl, etc etc most of em in a little bar type setting! I got to chill with Pat after one of his shows and he was asking people if they had any blow/weed. He is cool, but he is startin to seel out to nashville like a lil bitch. Fuckin love that music!

You should have heard Hank rippin on Toby....HAHAHA he was talkin about how Toby Keith has recently been labeled the "outlaw" of country music! LOL hes such a fag. his music sucks! yes, his pro-american songs were cool right after the terrorist attacks, but they are getting old, and so is nashville! If I had the choice to beat down any bitch/es from nashville, I would have to go with Rascal Flats!
