If your looking for a reason to use GH and have an insurance company pay for it good luck bc I don't know of ANY that will do so in the absence of a DIAGNOSTIC Slin, Arg or Glu assay.

And many now also require IGF testing as a secondary "confirmative" assay.

Moreover many will also mandate a formal Endo eval to ESTABLISH "GH deficiency" on clinical grounds.

Oh and vague psycho-social complaints like; malaise, fatigue, ED, SD, obesity, etc are NOT sufficient, (unless they are the result of a disease in which GH supplementation is FDA approved. such as AIDS or HTPA dysfunction) for the diagnosis of Adult Onset GH Deficiency.

Finally based on that avatar, you're pissing in the wind fella.

My insurance requires two failed stimulation test, prescribed by an endocrinologist, I had brain surgery with a resection, 31 radiation treatments and 6 chemotherapy treatments so it would be considered medically necessary since my pituitary was fried from cancer treatment. I've never used gh before but the point would be to restore my hormone levels to what a 30 year old would produce on average and nothing more.

I suppose you didn't believe THAT HISTORY was relevant from the OUTSET! I can only imagine what else you have omitted.

Great now go and asks those responsible for your TREATMENT to interpret the results of your assay! After all they ORDERED IT!

If "it's medically necessary" why are you asking if you're GH is "LOW", unless your Docs and the insurance don't believe such is the case.

To that end a PED forum is no place to search for a LEGITIMATE SECOND OPINION!
