It’s swollen, it’s noticeable lol I’m just glad it didn’t go while I was lifting heavy. And this is why I always want a spot when I get up there in weight.
I'm scared now lol. I just started getting confident hitting 3+ plates w no spot. It's one of those things, you know you have the weight but a spot makes you so much more confident.

No. I actuallly only got a spot at 340. I didn’t get one when I lifted 315 so I guess I’m lucky, I also just got comfortable enough to lift 315 with no spot. I’m just going to ice it, rest and rehab it. I still have some strength in it, it’s not completely torn, probably just grade 1, maybe 2 bc of my lack of mobility.

I already had one scheduled for next Week. It’s more black n blue today. I can lift my arm straight up today at least. I’m definitely taking it easy more a couple weeks. I did it to myself, I rushed Thru my warm up that day. Didn’t really warm up properly, I’ve did this to myself, usually my legs tho, at least a half dozen times. You would think I’d learn by now to take my warm ups seriously
 
Thought I would be able to at least squat today, nope. Can’t get the bar on my shoulders without pain. So I’m doing leg press, hack squat machine, some other leg machines and just whatever else I can do. I’m also stretching my chest and doing very light stuff for that.
 
Well the bruising is going away. The bruising got worse from what’s in the pic, my bicep is almost all black n blue, it goes around my armpit to the top of my pec. But I have full range of motion and I’m doing push ups already. I also high bar squatted today, 5x8 315. I got the bar into low bar position, but it was pretty tight so I decided to wait till next Monday to low bar squat. I’ve been stretching it, icing it, and resting it. I hope to be benching 315 in 2 more weeks, that will be 3 weeks down time, if I can’t oh well, but I’m setting goals.
 
Bench today, 5x15 135. I worked up to that slowly also. Stretching, and warming my muscles up. It felt good, I can tell it’s still healing but my strength is still there. I took it easy today on every lift I did. Really light weight and high reps. The bruising is going down a lot and it’s not swollen anymore. Oh yea my weight has been stuck at around 227 bc my diet has been shit. I keep eating sweats n shit. A part of my cares but a bigger part doesn’t lol I still would like to lose some fat but watching what I eat is the hardest thing for me.

I started earing the no sugar added Klondike bars at night. Around 200 calories, saves me from eating like 4 bags of candy lol. I'll eat 1, maybe 2 of them. It's been helping me cut a bit. I broke down mentally a week ago. I was eating a box of little apple pie pastries and made the foolish choice to look at the nutritional values lol. Each box was around 3600 calories. I was eating one per night :(

I feel ya. Dieting has always been hard for me, I’m addicted to food. I try to remind myself that I eat to live, not live to eat.
 
I haven’t updated in awhile bc I’m dealing with a lot of personal drama but I’m still at the gym, almost fully healed. I benched 275 Tuesday with little pain and I’ll attempt 315 this coming Tuesday. All my other lifts are ok, taking it a little easy on deadlifts just bc my bicep was so bruised I didn’t want to hurt it also.
 
Haven’t been updating in awhile. After my injury my lifting took a hit for 2 months. I’m finally back but everytime I bench, I feel tightness in my right underarm area. It’s not affecting me bc I put up a PR of 365 about 2 weeks ago, but it just doesnt feel right. I’m moving in a month so I’m prepping for that, and I’m up for another promotion at work so I’ve been working 14-15 hours a day. I’m tired all the time, but still working out. I’m 100% committed to finally hitting my goals this winter of 405 bench, 500 squat, and 600 deadlift. I’m literally only about 30 lbs or so off each one.
 
Figure I would update since I finally hit one of my all time goals. 500lbs squat. It wasn’t as hard as I thought. I should have tried a couple months ago. I hit depth easy. This was 3 weeks ago. So I decided to try my 405 bench this morning. I almost had it. I unracked myself and on the way up, froze about a foot off my chest. If I would have had my leg drive I would have had it. I was concentrating so much on keeping my elbow in I forgot. I’m trying for my 600lbs deadlift Friday. I got this.
