Well, it's not needed at all as a supplement, so whenever you want is fine. I'd keep it around workouts, but having some on non-training days isn't going to hurt. It's supposed to help the immune system, and it's also good for intestinal health, so it's definitely good.

Thanks that certainly makes sense. I am going to pick some up this week. Any particular brand that you prefer?

Frosty's on the nose with it. Glutamine is good on non-workout days, especially if your trying to recover from strenuous workouts the previous days. Today is a good example b/c I pounded the shit out of my legs on Fri and I can barely get off the throne to wipe my ass today. I took 10grams before bed and another 10 tonight before bed. I find it also helps me sleep better and boosts my immune system during abrupt wheather changes like we having now. Hey Frosty do you get your glutamine locally or online. I need a cheap hookup. I pay about $25 for 600grams.

Glutamine is an excellent supplement. It helps with the imune system, and it helps recover from muscle aches. I take it three times a days seven days a week.

Glutamine is excellent...it's found in all protein sources, especially cottage cheese. I know I'm in the minority here but, I think it's a waste of money most of the time as long as you have an adequate protein intake. I use it when coming off cycle and when dieting stricly, otherwise I'll spend my money on more important things...
