GLP-1 GRP increase in Hunger

I've been reading a lot and haven't come across this particular effect for GLP's.

I have been taking Terz 2.5mg now up to 5mg/wk and have had an increase in appetite. Not using it for appetite control but rather cardio protective effects and insulin production.

Can Terz, has anyone, had an increase in appetite? I'm ready to eat every 2hrs and I usually eat every 3hrs.

Thanks for any info!

Absolutely. My wife was taking it and ended up having all the terrible side effects so she stopped and we have 2 kits of 10mg. Im using the kit she started on.

Her appetite suppression was strong. Lost 10lbs in 5 weeks and that was at 2.5mg for 4 weeks and 1 week at 5mg.

If you never had appetite suppression on it all it's doing keeping blood sugar lower via increased insulin sensitivity. Now your body wants its higher blood sugar back, driving appetite.

You can titrate to 5mg, likely still have no noticeable appetite suppression, but that ought to be enough to bring your appetite back to normal, further improve insulin sensitivity, improve lipids (and clear liver fat), lower systemic inflammation, and provide greater cardiac protection.

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you for that.

Responsiveness to GLPs various tremendously among individuals. In general women are more sensitive than men. The rest comes down to receptor density and how much of those hormones (GLP and GIP) you produce endogenous.

So while 2.5mg, the starting dose, may be overwhelming for some, others feel nothing, and don't even begin to experience appetite suppression until 7.5mg, even 10mg. It has nothing to do with weight, incidentally.
