Getting Script HGH

HIV wasting is a major reason for the prescription of HGH in the adult population. An HIV individual, suffering from wasting, is commonly treated with HGH as well as anabolics such as Deca. I am not sure what the amount prescribed is but you may be better off just biting the bullet and ordering the kits from a source.
Do you think insurance would cover this situation? I looked up on the medicaid website I am pretty sure they will.

@jJjburton , having HIV isn't a free ticket to getting a script for Serostim. You probably know that Serostim is the GH that got the nod from the FDA to be the one and only GH that will be prescribed for the wasting syndrome that is associated with HIV.
There are thousands of HIV positive Americans out there running around that do not have scripts for Serostim. Why would an otherwise apparently physically well person be given a script for Serostim? Preventive maintenance? Not going to happen.
The HIV positive patient has to be sick enough with the wasting syndrome having brought the lean muscle mass to a specific % low enough to fit the criteria set in order to have Serostim prescribed. There is a checklist of at least 10 things that have to be present in each patient in order to have the script OK'd. And, yes, state insurance covers the gh and gear the guys get. I've never met a guy that has ever come out of pocket to cover any expense incurred in regards to gh and gear.
I will say that once the patient has been prescribed GH I haven't seen the script cut off. I know some guys that have been getting 4 kits per month(some get 3 months worth at a time and sell all 12)for years(one guy has been on since 2011) and my untrained eyes tell me they haven't gained a pound since being prescribed the Seros. I figure that these guys must be the "Non responders"?
Believe me, there are guys that will diet and do what they can in order to get the script. Most of the guys wanting the scripts want them so they can sell them and improve their lifestyles as best they can. I can't say that its true for all, but every guy that I've met or been told about that sells his Seros and gear since 2005 has been a user of crystal methamphetamine.
HIV may be a popular topic in the gay Community, but meth is as well. Someone posted about gear also being prescribed with the Seros. I haven't seen deca prescribed to anyone out here. The guys that are prescribed Seros also get a 10ml vial of Test Cyp 200mg/ml every month that they will sell along with the kits. Not all, but some, are getting Oxandrolone(var). I knew 1 guy that was getting var from a compounding pharmacy that were made for him @20mg per cap.

Yea, I agree. This is why I am asking. They never would have thought about it unless I didn;t bring it up. I just think that the person should use the stuff because they will feel better and they have muscle wasting I believe. They have a hard time losing stomach fat also. I basically wanted to know this part of your post, even though all is helpful. "And, yes, state insurance covers the gh and gear the guys get. I've never met a guy that has ever come out of pocket to cover any expense incurred in regards to gh and gear." This is awesome news. I hope I do not sounds arrognt or anything typing. I am strictly speaking trying to get knowlaedge.

If you're asking me a question would you please ask me again? I apologize if I don't see what may be obvious. I want to answer you're question thoroughly.

you did already. It was would insurance cover HGH if you had medicaid, and an FDA approved reason?

I would guess you and I are looking for two different kinds of doctors.
my trt doctor gives me regular blood tests. I want a doctor that is going to help me stay healthy, one that is going to tell me if my liver values, kidney values etc are bad and if I need to back off. You on the other hand are not looking for a doctor, just a script, which are to expensive. So what you really looking for is a source.

Nope.

I don't want/need a "source". What I do want/need is a prescription so that I shift myself from a legal gray area into an area where it will be legal for me to travel with my GH as well as have GH ordered/shipped to me.

As far as having a doctor to "help me stay healthy", not something I've ever desired personally.

now I will put that statement in my book, under the not to smart section.

Do you know what they called a doctor who finished at the absolute bottom of his class?

Doctor.

If you find a good one, by all means - kudos. However, when you have an advanced level understanding of endocrinology and human physiology then this becomes less of a need and more of a nice to have a second set of eyes.

And, when you are bringing exogenous hormones into the mix, the pool of doctors who actually have even the slightest clue, which you can trust - is VERY small.

Getting a script is easier than getting insurance to cover it! I'm in the process of getting one, I had brain surgery with a resection, 31 radiation treatments, and 6 chemotherapy treatments. so basically my pituitary is fried. most insurance companies require 1.prescribed by an infectious disease dr or endocrinologist. 2. two failed growth hormone stimulation test or low igf1 with 3 other defiencies.
