I’m 23 and have been lifting since I was 17. I started out as a really skinny, undernourished kid at around 100 lbs, but after years of training and a dirty bulk, I hit 253 lbs at my peak. I’ve since cut down a lot of the fat, though I still have some stubborn lower back fat left that I’m working on this year.
Right now I’m 173 cm (5’8”) and 189 lbs.
I’ve been looking into Chase Irons’ approach to getting on gear. The plan I had in mind is starting with
200 mg/week of Test E, then reassessing every 8 weeks to decide whether to increase the dose, and eventually adding in a DHT derivative.
The main reason I want to hop on is the
quality-of-life improvements people often talk about—stronger erections, higher libido, consistent morning wood, more confidence, etc.—in addition to the obvious training benefits.
- Would 200 mg/week be a solid starting point to build from?
- I already have anastrozole and letrozole on hand, both dissolved in vodka for even dosing. How should I best approach AI use as a first-timer?
- My biggest concern is gyno, since it can throw off your entire look. As a newbie, I’m also aware that the other side effects are no joke, so I want to be cautious.
Any advice, suggestions, or experiences you can share would mean a lot.
