Getting back bitcoins from scammer

Sent my regular source a fuckload of bitcoins. Of corse he decided to bail and now im grands short.

My question to any tech-geeks out there, is there any way of tracking the bitcoins down and retrieve them, even better, track this motherfucker down so i can deal with him personally? I think he uses tails on a burner laptop
