football hall of fame question ....

sweetness and barry are without a doubt my favorite NFL players of all time. mosie tatupu isn't bad either cuz his name is tough to say. that would have been somethin, barry almost averaged 2000 total yards per season with the freakin Lions, if he was on the Boys' teams of the 90's he could've had a 3,000 total yard season..

Todd Christensen????????????........all his stats are negated by his stint as an NFL play by play guy.......compared to him,Phil Simms is a Shakespearian actor.......
now i wanted to say something bad about Chuck Knox..........but ...you cant.........

Well Bro did u know they are only like 12 maybe 13 hall of fame tight ends at most, with Ditka and Casper being my faves. And i played TE when in high school and its not a ez positon if blocking for a run/pass against somebody twice your size one play then running down field for a catch gettin your dick knocked in your watch pocket in the center of the field the next play. I think Tight Ends are way under rated.

So yeah 5 pro bowls and a superbowl ring makes me toss ol TC a bone.

Just my 2 cc's worth

here's a thought though ... would barry 's runs looked as impressive running thru holes a semi could fit thru? or was it more impressive seeing him making amazing runs because he had no line? either way he is great though.

yeah sanders made two kinds of runs, amazing runs that got 10yards a go,and even more amazing runs that only made the 5 yards back to the line. if the lions would have invested in something other than him they would have gotten at least one ring.

Billy Simms was a good RB before Barry , does any1 remember the game where he jumped up and kicked the LB or saftey in the face that was gona try and tackle him in front of the end zone and he went on to score?
Hell Barry had some big shoe to fill from the start cause IMO Billy Sims was a damn good RB.

And im not saying Elway dont belong in the hall of fame but look at his stats . The only time he had more Td's than Int's was the last 5 years of his carer and most of that was because of the cast around him.
One of my all time favorite QB's was Dan Fouts cause he NEVER had the cast to work with like other top notch QB's , the guy was a 1 man show IMO.
And one other thing i hated about Elway was that stupid ass look he got on his face after her threw a interception like derrrr did i do that. But like i said he does deserve to be in the hall of fame.

It does suck that sanders doesnt have the record. I loved payton and if anyone was going to break it than I was hoping sanders would. He got his yards like payton, on his own. Smith ran behind a probowl team. Scary thought of sanders behind the cowboys during the 90's.

no kidding, he would've ran for 20'000yrds behind that line.

hall of fame--- I think Carl Eller and Jim Marshall are way over do
