I work in construction and having some trouble on what to bring with me to eat .I get two breakes three hours apart ,no way to heat anything up or keep anything cold except my lunch can. Lunch is normally two sandwiches wheat bread cheese turkey something like that ,a piece of fruit and thats about it. my morning break is normally a bagel and some hardboiled eggs. Any help on something new and better would be great. thanks for the help.

The breaks spaced 3 hours apart is perfect timing bro..you are lucky to have it spaced out like that..your lunch sounds good to me.I would add any protien/weightgainer bar you like the taste of(I get mine on ebay)..cottage cheese and cup of fruit to mix with it and cheese sticks or big hunk of cheese..look for low sodium and low fat type with high protien....If you make 2 sandwiches i would not eat them both at the same meal......how bout a sweet potato warmed before you leave and wrapped in foil...and or premixed protien drinks..ebay too by the case is cheapest.extra lean sandwich meat without the bread is good too...again watch the sodium levels on the meat. The thing that sucks about construction is sometimes you use all your energy there on the job and have nothing left for the gym..believe it or not when I was in roofing industry i worked out at 4;30 am till about 5;45 am before i went to work ..this way i was tired at work and not in the gym ! think I have my priorities straight ????

Ya, I luckily have the ability to heat stuff up, but I take two sandwiches, half before lunch, one at lunch, half after.
Or, I dont mind just grilled cold chicken, which is good all around, hardly any fat, sodium, and packed with protien.
I also don't mind just plain tuna with a little light mayo.
But ya, cheese sticks, cottage cheese, and protien shakes as well
