Friend of mine used to work at a pet store. Ho's used to buy them all the time when they'd come down with "things". Fish, esp. tropical ones, are incredibly sensitive creatures, almost anything kills them. My guess would be that they're OK. Still, you can order real antibiotics from places like Masters Marketing in the UK..so unless you're Johnson is dripping and your woman is coming back from her parents' house in 3 days...I'd just order from them.

How would you go about giving a fish a 250mg capsule? I have heard about people getting these antibiotics from vet websites, they claim to be the same chems as in human antibiotics. It may be an alternative for people who don't have health insurance and can't afford to go to the doctor.Although they are not sold for the intent of human consumption, but I'd still like to see someone give a fish a pill.

Giving a fish a 250mg capsule is easy. It's a suppository. J/K.

You drop it in the water.

If I *had* to take animal antibiotics, I'd take bird ones. Still, better off checking out masters marketing in UK. You'll have pills in a week or two.

You just drop it in the aquarium....you treat the water ...you treat the fish.
