Saw two friends recently. One Ive known for over 30 years but hadn't seen him in 18 months. The other is my best friend but havent seen him in 6-8 months due to is both working out of town. The first one did t even recognize me when I walked up fo him for a lunch meet...he had to double take to make sure it was me. My best friend came over to the house and looked at me, looked at me again and said "WTF have you been doing?? Youre getting huge! " I dont think I am but we all think that when we look in the mirror everyday. Guess the hard work and eating is paying off even at my age

Anyone else get comments from folks they he havent seen in a while?

Every now and again I’ll get a compliment from a stranger- makes me feel good about myself too.

My friends and family have been around me so much I think they are used to my gym rat lifestyle. So not many comments from the regulars.

I’m glad you’re getting positive feedback!

I went into the office for the first time in 9 months.

Had like 4 people say "wtf, you look good/ripped".

Told them I doubled my calories (true) and started lifting 6x/week (true).

Nice to hear, since its so slow, I dont really notice.

Also frustrating in a way, because Im about a third of the way to my goal, so a lot more work to go.

I hear ya...a work in progress

Over the summer I wore a tank top to my mom’s house and she commented on me looking a bit more muscular (no AAS, just putting in work at the gym) and then last week, 6ish weeks into HRT, I had someone comment on how good my skin was looking (thanks, estradiol!) Feels good, man.
