Expirity of Homebrew

I would like to raise a very important question,how long it takes for homebrew steroids to expire since date of brewing it ?

As long as is the self life of the carrier oil. Oxidized carrier oil is what you should worry about.

Typically, if your gear is brewed and stored properly the life is limited by how long until the oil will go rancid. There may be some degradation in the hormone but it’s minimal.

I have deca home brew that’s five years old. It’s fine.

Yes. But I wouldn’t be the one to pin the oil and find out if it was still good.

I'm curious, if you got sealed sterile vials and put one hole, say 20 guage, in the rubber stopper to fill with your solution, would that affect shelf life?

I’m far from an expert in this matter, but what you’re describing is how I’d imagine most home brewers fill their vials to begin with. At least I do. After filling I place a few vials with a desecant pack into a food saver bag, and seal it until use. I store finished gear in a soft sided cooler bag in a temperature controlled secure location.

The question in general has already been answered.
Stored properly your gear is limited by the life of the oil not the hormone with the caveat it will degrade slightly overtime. Hope this is helpful.
