Estradiol patches anywhere?

Not sure if this is the place. I know people here usually don't like others asking to find them a product. I've looked at all the pharmacy/pct sources I think.

My wife is prescribed transdermal estrodial patches. We will be likely losing insurance soon. Trying to find a source for them.

I have found estrodial pills fairly easily but not the patches. She likes the slow release.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ugh, sorry to hear that. I have some bi-weekly patches that haven’t been opened. I switched to a injectable.
One box at least is a lower dose than the others. Hopefully it’s ok to post this

Are you offering to sell these? I'm not sure that's allowed for non sources. How has the experience been going to injections. She's reluctant to add more injections. (Got on EOD test recently)

I’m not sure what I can or cannot say either. Yes, I do not need them. I could probably still get a few more but not sure how many refills are left. Maybe best to DM me about it.
I do like the injections better but maybe that’s because I started with that and felt it worked well. I was paying out of pocket in the beginning then decided to go through my gynecologist. She didn’t do bloodwork or anything which seemed odd to me so, I went back to the HRT clinic. I do my shots 3 times a week because I metabolize fast. I do sub-q with an insulin pin because it’s only 8 units. Easy.

Email the 2 India PCT vendors directly and ask if they can get either Estraderm or Estradot.

Are you in the US?
This place doesnt require insurance -- just needs a prescription.
They deliver to your house.
Thank you that's helpful.

I'll hold on to that link. I do think that while we have the script we can access the medicine as we are doing now. The problem comes when the insurance goes away and then the script expires.

Ask your current doctor for a longer script with refills.

This will provide both prescription and product, but is alot more expensive.

It becomes really pricey outside of insurance. The HRT place I use wants you to do labs before each visit which is understandable but not cheap if you don’t have insurance. They offer “discounted labs” but it’s close to $200 if I remember correctly. The telehealth visit is $125. After the first two visits, you only have to talk to them every 6 months. The estradiol cypionate is $82 for a 10mg/mL 5mL bottle. That usually lasts 6 months. I don’t know if it’s possible to find a lab to do all the tests required cheaper or not.

Can’t you buy estradiol powder raws and then apply it topically? It’s not hard to make a hydro-alcoholic gel or a patch

Estradiol has a very low therapeutic dose, which may be dosed as low as 1mg per day for transdermal use. There’s a source here that can provide 100,000mg of estradiol for 150 USD.

Of course, you can’t precisely dose it by doing this, but the pharma-grade transdermals don’t induce precise and consistent serum levels, anyway.

Obviously this isn’t ideal. It’d be far safer to get pharma-grade stuff. But if you’re struggling to get a good source, this is very cheap and very effective.
