Eat some pineapple after every meal, it has an enzyme (can't remember the name) that helps breaks down protein. Don't get too carried away though this enzyme over time in an excessive amount can wear down teeth enamel

Whid, yes, you can buy them over-the-counter. Just go into GNC and tell them what you want, they will know what you are talking about. Also, some protein powders have the enzyme included.

the enzyme in pinapple is called bromalain (sorry, I work at a GNC).

I have been using GNC enzyme digestant for a few years tablet form. Works great. A little trick I use if you are lactose intolerant or large amounts of whey powder screw up your stomach is to crush up one tab into a fine powder and add it in the blender with your whey and liqiuds then put it in the fridge for at least one hour. This will help to pre-digest the protien and eliminate stomach upset.....Vegas

yeah i read that md article to. you can even get those enzymes at walmart. I use them when i am taking in alot of protein at one time. The down side or upside depending on what your goals are some enzymes supplements have all the enzymes in them that helps you digest more carbs along with digesting more protein. So I wouldn't take the enzymes when you're eating dirty.
