Easy but heathy

Eating heathy food definately effects my mood.

But it's hard work, a real pain in the ass.

What heathy food can you think of that doesn't need:

- preparing
- refridgeration

A protain source too? Whey cakes?

What can I keep in my pocket or car that I can quitely munch on? Oh, and it can't cost the world obviously. All these things are as important as good nutrition knowledge.
 
I put 1 or 2 scoops of whey protein powder into sandwhich baggies and twist 'em up so they won't spill out. I keep 2 or three baggies handy at work, and just add water in a cup or shaker for instant protein. No need to refrigerate. I wouldn't put them in my pocket, though. That could get messy. :)
 
Depends on what you consider "preparing". Everything will require some amount of prep. However, PBJ sandwhiches are good BB food that require little prep and no refrigeration. As long as you're not going out into the sun for 8 hours, then there's no reason you can't put a turkey sandwhich in your pocket, either.

Put a turkey sandwich in your pocket and go for a walk in a "dog park". Great way to meet chicks. and meeting chicks is a great way to put some meat on your bone...
 
a can of tuna or sardines (packed in H2O) - pure unadulterated protein

easy enough 2 keep in a backpack or glovebox along with a can opener (or "swiss army knife") - or just run into any nearby caf(eteria) and use theirs. Season with whatever's on hand @ the time of eating and enjoy. And how about cheap? well under a buck a tin.

Only drawbacks; dog-breath after eating unless ya got some oral rinse & not the easiest thing 2 jam in yer front pocket :)
