Dutasteride Help

Some questions about dutasteride.
Was taking tablets and having issues.
I understand Dut is not bioavilable in raw powder or tablet form and you need gel formulations like avodart for it to work.
It seems very hard to source Avodart or similar medications for a cheap price unless I want to risk it on Indiamart which I don’t.
I did some research and found that eating a raw tablet/powder amount does nothing, having it with a fatty meal slightly increases absorption, but mixing it with something like olive or cocount oil and drinking it would actually make it 70-80% bioavailable compared to something like avodart. Can anyone knowledgeable confirm this? If so I think the easiest most cost effective solution would just be to have raw powder Dut, Take a once weekly dose with some oil, and go about my life. Seems many people take powder or tablet versions without realizing it does almost nothing. Any insight appreciated or if you happen to know a good place to source cheap Avodart.

You have to dilute it first in oil, taking a fatty meal with it won't do shit.

There are a dozen "Dry" dutasteride tablets available in India (and some other countries). Typically has a bioavailability of from 5% to 20% lower than oil filled gelcaps and capsules.

Over the last ten years many tablet formulations have been developed that overcome the poor solubility of dutasteride, without needing to be in an oil suspension.

I use Dutaheal tabs (Healing Pharma, India), which are definitely effective. As solid tablets, it makes it easy to reduce the dosage by splitting them.

For anyone considering Dutasteride to regrow and preserve hair, I recommend getting a baseline DHT measurement first, start low and increase slow with the dose.
