Denatured Protien

I want to make my own protien bars,but I've read that heat in the oven denatures the protien.Can anyone tell me if this affects the quality of the protien? Or does it render it useless?
 
It lowers the quality which, in essence, makes less of it actually worth a damn. So, if ye started out with 20g the heat might make about 2g worthless. These are not the actual figures. I don't know what they wouild be in reality. Just givin ye an idea that there will still be some left, just not as much and it won't be as good.
