Cycle help

Greetings, new around here. 58M looking to get stronger and gain some muscle through some lifting and martial arts. Currently on trt (100mg/wk) and using bpc/tb for healing and various GH secretagogues for recovery and some sleep help. I’ve been doing a lot of reading here and am thinking of starting a cycle or cruise that isn’t overly aggressive but will yield good results. My thoughts are as follows:

Weights and cardio 3x week
Jiu Jitsu 3-4 x week
Double testosterone to 200mg wk
3iu HGh in am then regular secretagogue dose in pm
Addition of another aas, like Primo at half dose of test

Does anyone have any advice or see any issues with this initial plan? I currently do bloodwork regularly and intend to do it again right before starting protocol then checking again about a month later provided i haven’t had any side effects that cause me to halt.

Saw on another thread you competed at Worlds this year. That's fucking badass bro. I'll train til I die, but crossing my fingers I'm not too broken to still be competitive at 58.

I know this is months late, sorry for the necropost. I'm curious what you ended up running most of the year. I'll save my thoughts on your original plan until after hearing your honest review, but did you stick mostly to it or change it up along the way? How were your labs and dexas? Obviously any strength gains are helpful in jiujitsu but how bad did your gear bork your roll cardio?

Yeah man, Worlds is fun, I’ve done both masters worlds and no gi worlds a couple of times. Probably not doing no gi worlds this year because my back is giving me all kinds of issues. My old ass will officially be Masters 7 in January. I may make a run at all the big championships next year while I’m still the youngster on the Masters 7 block lol.

I did run the test / primo cycle for 10 weeks. Didn’t make any changes. Slight caloric deficit the whole time. Felt good and bloodwork was solid, i was hitting weights hard during that time and my dexa had my bf at 22% in January. I finished that one and kept hitting the weights hard and keeping nutrition on point.

In June I started a 16wk cycle, which I’m on the last week of now, of initially 300 test, 150 primo, 100 Deca, 50 mast and 50 Tren e. That was a great cycle but i felt like my e2 was low and sure enough at first 4 week bloods my e2 was in low 20’s so i bumped test up to 400 and primo down to 100, where ive been since. Bloods are golden. I did another dexa in late July, around 6-7 weeks in and my bf was down to 8% and my lean muscle mass increased greatly. This has been a great cycle, which, also included various orals (Adrol, Tbol, Var) PWO throughout, which helped quite a bit. I intend to run pretty much same cycle again starting mid january.

No cardio hit at all on the test primo cycle but on this one my cardio for rolling was still solid up until about 12 weeks in then i noticed i started getting gassed pretty quick. One thing that helps a lot of taking Tbol before rolling. Energy for days that has helped overcome the cardio issue
 
Heh, my back is garbage too, and hopefully won't be ground to a fine powder by the time I'm 60. But fuck it, hazard of the hobby, I guess.

Wow, 22 to 8%! That's amazing. I'm digging your June-Oct cycle, very responsible ratios. Nothing too crazy to manage but still enough to push progress (and you obviously made some!).

It's not really an issue with boxing or muay thai, but the bjj guys are hard to convince to keep a level head with doses. There are guys at my gyms way too young to be on gear that think they're going to be the next Gordon or UFC champ and trying to pin BB doses but then can't make it through a 5min round without getting completely gassed. Even some of the older guys that should know better are overdoing it just for local amateur comps.

I'll keep tbol in mind for pre-roll. I've had similar success with sdrol, but it's not great for those extended all-day training sessions. Once the initial boost wears off, I'm basically done with the day unless I can catch a nap.
