Hey guys! It's that time of year again and I was just wondering if any of you had any good healthy crock-pot/slow cooker recipes you could share! I got one of my own to contribute....
-Chicken covered in basil, garlic powder, and Roma tomatoes..I've also added salsa before as well.. I cook this on low for 6-7 hours and the chicken is really good, it literally falls apart because its so tender.

hell yeah the old lady and me have been using the crock pot almost every night.

split pea and ham soup
bean chilis
bbq shredded chicken
pulled pork
slow cooked tomato sauce over pasta
any kind of soup and veggies over rice is my favorite

Chop up a bunch of onions, put fat country style ribs on top of onions, season and turn on the crock.

I drain the fat when it's close to being done and then toss in a bottle of teriyaki sauce for a bit.

Chicken wings, franks hot sauce, bit of sriracha... yum.
Also made soy sauce and honey wings tonight in there. 4 hours on high, I'll be trying those tomorrow at work.

Ill do things like throw in a bunch of chicken thighs with some chicken stock and water and then the next day make up rice and green beans and portion it all out.

Another thing I do is chicken breast for 8 hours in water or a weak stock, put it in a glass dish, pull it all apart using forks, cover it in taco sauce and cheddar cheese and salt and seal it up. I'll take guac to work the next day with it and maybe sour cream if I remembered to buy some and maybe some taco chips. Yummmmmers.

White chicken chili south of the border style
Deer chili
Deer stew
Deer stroganoff
Chicken noodle soup with out the chicken usually put over rice or just by itself

My go to right now is seasoning cut potatoes and line the bottom.. season chicken put over potatoes. Pop on low for 5.5 hours. Portion it out, steam veggies in micro and bam I’ve got my meals for day after bfast.

I’ll also just do like others said and make shredded chicken.. can sort with rice or whatever.. throw some salsa on it or a little sauce when I’m getting sick of the food grind..

Just saw this recipe, haven't tried it yet

2 onions, sliced
2 bell peppers, seeded and sliced
2 packages of raw, spicy hotlinks
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 TBS red chili pepper flakes
2 TBS chili powder
1 TBS dried thyme
1 32-ounce large jar marinara sauce

In a crockpot, add onions and peppers. Add hot links. Sprinkle garlic, pepper flakes, chili powder, and thyme evenly over the top. Spread marinara evenly over the top.

Place lid on crockpot and cook on low for 8 – 10 hours. Serve warm.
