meal prepping for the week. My chicken is soaking in lemon juice, fresh garlic, montreal steak seasoning and some lemon and garlic herb seasoning right now while I put together a spreadsheet of my intake. I've been eye balling my portions for a while but I picked up a food scale today because I really want to dial things in.

I'm gonna pan fry my chicken in coconut oil and the coconut oil also gets used in the broccoli a little.

my question, is there a variable that you all apply to account for the extra ingredients that are hard to measure?
Just looking for some tips and tricks to help me account for everything.

Myfitnesspal can really get it dialed in man. You can adjust the serving sizes to whatever you want just type in like .5 or .33 etc.
Also for my meal preps I usually just measure out the first meal and then just ballpark the rest to match that one.

Your herbs and spices arnt a real concern in regards to calories.
But things like sodium is something you should keep an eye on, some of them have a
lot of salt and stuff.

Sodium is one thing I'm trying to keep to a min, never been big on salt. But when cooking chicken, I have to keep adding a spoonful of oil every other batch or so. Guess I should just factor that in and multiply.

I do the same method of weighing out and then eye balling the rest of my meals. Quick and easy. My fitness pal works well but it took to much time to get fast at it. I just do all the math in my head and keep up with it.
