Counterfeit postage?

It is from today

Which vendor? This has to be avoided like the plague.

There's a scam where the reshippers who slap USPS labels on Chinese packs once they reach the US exploited a USPS weakness that allowed tracking numbers to be "recycled" to avoid paying postage. USPS finally figured it out and thousands of packs were seized, and a few arrests made of the Chinese living in the US who were making millions off the scam.

But that loophole has long been closed (supposedly), so anyone trying this is an idiot. Sorry yours got caught up.

Please help everyone else by naming the vendor so we know they're aware and we can make sure they changed reshippers.

The vendor is JEC/JCE- Aria.

I have used her before when she has run certain sales and never had an issue. She responded that she will contact the freight forwarder tomorrow, but I imagine any resolution wont come until mid Oct at best and I am pretty put off by this anyhow.

What a stupid scam.

Yeah I doubt the vendor is aware, and probobly isn't the beneficiary of this. Those reshippers provide services to hundreds of vendors. most selling legit stuff. But it's crucial they change shipping companies because it puts packs right in the hands of domestic law enforcement, which may not be as lenient as Customs is. .

If it had been AAS I would be much more concerned.

Still not great- but I doubt that some DSIP and glow are gonna cause me much trouble

Thank you for sharing about this. Hope things get sorted out for you.

It seems like there is so many question marks and potential sketch factors with international shipping right now.

Maybe we can make a private message thread/group to discuss and share updates about success/issues related to post-August 2025 shipping and tariffs? I wonder if anyone is interested in that :P

Hey @dcfreak check out this post and the comments throughout.

It seems like there may be a problem, or "glitch", happening recently with USPS in some way.

People have mentioned seeing a lot of posts in the USPS subreddit today regarding this same tracking status, for all kinds of different shipping situations.

Looks to all be stiff shipped from China. Same situation as last time. Many Chinese companies using the same reship service. . My guess is the fraud is real.
