Hi,

New to the forum, I am a long time lifter who quit training 8 years ago due to an exhausting work schedule. Now with my boys turning 13 and training for football and an ease in work hours, I am back training with the motivation of a 13 year old. Reminds me of how much I loved it when I started.

I am 45 years old and trained for 22 years before my break. It feels strange to start from what seems like scratch, but 3 weeks in and I can already see improvement. Can't believe I let myself go to this point, and could make excuses, but nah.. Let's just do the work.

Good to be here! Thanks.

Bloodwork and basics brother.

Measure and optimize: Testosterone. Lipids. Blood pressure.

Get on a GLP if you have weight to lose.

And of course diet and physical activity, but it all starts with measuring where you are. If you need help figuring out how to arrange lab work cheaply just say so.

Welcome to saving your own life.
